At Shoes 4 Hope Foundation, we are committed to transparency, accountability, and integrity in all our financial transactions. This policy outlines our guidelines for handling donations, sponsorship payments, event fees, and any other financial contributions made to the foundation.

1. Payment Policy
a) Accepted Forms of Payment
We accept donations and payments through the following methods:
• Mobile Money (e.g., M-Pesa)
• Bank Transfers
• Credit/Debit Cards (where applicable)
• Online payment gateways (e.g Flutterwave)
• Cheques and cash (during official events only)
b) Payment Confirmation
• Donors and payees will receive an official receipt or confirmation via email, SMS, or printed format within 72 hours of payment.
• Each payment will be issued a unique Transaction ID for record keeping and follow-up. c) Recurring Donations
• Supporters may choose to make monthly or annual recurring donations.
• Donors can modify or cancel their recurring payments at any time by contacting our team at info@shoes4hope.org or +254 114 955 542.

2. Refund Policy
While donations are generally non-refundable, we understand that errors can occur. Our refund policy is designed to be fair and respectful to both our donors and the integrity of our mission.
a) Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds may be granted in the following circumstances:
• Duplicate donations made in error
• Incorrect donation amount
• Unauthorized or fraudulent transactions
• Canceled event or service paid for in advance
b) Refund Request Process
To request a refund, please email donations@sho3s4hope.org or call us at +254 114 955 542 within 7 days of the transaction. Include the following:
• Full Name
• Contact Information
• Payment Method & Date
• Transaction Reference Number
• Reason for Refund Request
All refund requests will be reviewed within 7 business days, and if approved, the refund will be processed using the original payment method.

3. Non-Refundable Contributions
• General donations, unless due to error or fraud, are non-refundable, as funds are used immediately to support children and programs.
• In-kind donations (e.g., shoes, clothing, hygiene kits) cannot be returned or refunded. ________________________________________

Any disputes arising from payments or refunds will be handled with professionalism and care.

If necessary, Shoes 4 Hope will engage third-party mediators or financial institutions to resolve complex cases.
